Pearl Golf Links West
Like its sister course, the Pearl “West” opened in 1986 and was designed by Dan Maples, but that is where the comparison ends. The Pearl “East” is a parkland style Myrtle Beach golf course while the Pearl “West” is a links style course. The lush fairways wind through towering pines on many holes, while other holes border the scenic Calabash River. There are some outstanding views of the vast marshlands and natural surroundings. The Pearl “West” is very enjoyable for all golfers with a course rating of 73.2 and a slope of 132. The large undulating greens can challenge the very best of golfers. Accuracy off of the tee is demanded to avoid the many hazards such as marshlands, lakes, bunkers and pampas grass. As its sister course, the Pearl “West” is also a favorite Myrtle Beach golf course to include in a Myrtle Beach golf package for those golfers looking for the best Myrtle Beach golf deal.
